Kitty Yoga began in Montreal with a simple mission: to create a calming wellness experience that benefits both people and cats. What started as a local concept has since grown into a multi-city community, with locations in Toronto, Ottawa, Quebec City, Los Angeles, New York City, and Boston. Across every city, we stay true to our roots; prioritizing mindful movement, animal welfare, and meaningful connections, while supporting local shelters and helping cats grow into happy, confident adults.

Hi! I'm a young girl from Montreal who absolutely loves cats. I created Kitty Yoga as a way to share my passion for these adorable kitties with others. Kitty Yoga is a unique experience where you can enjoy a relaxing yoga session in the company of friendly, playful cats.

I understand that not everyone can have their own cat, whether due to living situations, or other reasons. Kitty Yoga provides a perfect opportunity to spend time with these wonderful animals, helping them socialize and become more comfortable around people. Each week, you'll meet different kitties, making every session a new heartwarming and knowledgeable experience.

At Kitty Yoga, we’re committed to supporting animal welfare. We host rescue-based yoga sessions whenever possible, giving shelter cats a chance to socialize and meet potential adopters in a calm, loving environment. If someone connects with a cat during class, we help cover part of the adoption fee. A portion of every booking also goes directly to local shelters to support their ongoing efforts.

As of December 2025, we’ve helped 15 rescue cats find forever homes through our classes and continue working hard to find shelters to collaborate with regularly.
